Fees and Wedding Services

Your wedding ceremony is centerpiece of your wedding day. It’s the moment you make your commitment to each other and create the memories to last a lifetime. You know there is much more to choosing a wedding officiant than price. And I know that budget is an important part of your wedding planning. As your celebrant, I want to make sure you have the ceremony that is right for you.

I offer wedding ceremonies in 3 basic categories:

If these don’t fit what you’re looking for, let’s arrange a no-obligation meeting to discuss the possibilities.

And don’t forget to check out our Additional Wedding-Related Services:

Eloping?—Don’t let a small guest list determine the kind of ceremony you have. Your wedding ceremony is that wondrous moment when you declare your love for one another. Whether you have 2 witnesses or 200, your ceremony should be special. Read through the options below and see what matches your vision for your wedding day.

Full Celebrant Service

My Full Celebrant Service is a highly personalized, custom ceremony. Share your love story and get creative with readings and rituals that are meaningful to you. This is ceremony of choice if you’re a creative couple, if you’re looking to express yourselves through your wedding ceremony, if you want a ceremony with lots of opportunities to include family and friends, or if you’re an interfaith or multicultural couple looking for ways to balance traditions and make them your own.

We start with a meeting (in person, by phone, or via video call) to talk about your ceremony and questionnaires to help me write it.

Your ceremony is written just for you and can include your love story, multiple readings, rituals and elements of your choice, including different ways for your loved ones to participate. You determine what goes into you ceremony.

Once it’s written, I’ll email you your ceremony to review. This is your chance to make changes. Most ceremonies go through 2 or 3 drafts.

Full Celebrant Service also includes:

  • Arranging the order of your processional
  • Help with your vows
  • Attending the rehearsal (if necessary)
  • Cue sheets for your other ceremony vendors (photographer, coordinator, DJ. etc.)
  • Coordinating with your other vendors (as needed) before your ceremony

The Full Service fee is generally between $750 to $1200.

Need something in between Simple & Sweet and the Full Celebrant Service?—Do you want a short and sweet ceremony, but with a little something extra ? That can be arranged!

Quick I Do

This is my most basic ceremony and is popular with couples who had commitment or civil union ceremonies already or are having a big wedding later and just want to get legally married first. This ceremony includes vows and ring vows, and a few words of introduction.

This service doesn’t include an in person meeting. I’ll ask you a few questions via email so I can tailor the ceremony for you and you’ll get one draft to review the script.

This ceremony is $375 and available only in Sullivan County, NY and the surrounding area within a 30 minute drive from Liberty NY.

During the Corona Virus/ Covid19 public health crisis, I will be offering discounted Quick I Do ceremonies to couples who have had to postpone their New York weddings and can meet me in Liberty, NY area.  You’ll need your NY Marriage license and a witness. (I may be able to provide a witness with enough advanced notice.)

Note: For health and safety reasons, these will be elopement style ceremonies with no additional guests beyond your witness.  Very strict physical distancing will be observed and ceremonies will be held outdoors only. My goal is to help couples who need to get married  now and can’t wait for this crisis to pass.
